Helping Kids Stay in School

Helping youths acquire the motivation and desire to continue to be the best they can in and out of school; plan their future by discovering, igniting and aiming for their hearts' desires does not have to be an enormous challenge.

Like adults, children can become frustrated and discouraged with life challenges, feel depressed and lose the motivation and desire required to perform certain activities.

Without knowing how to keep focused on their hearts desires through this common cloud of frustration, setting goals no longer becomes enjoyable, as they try to find meaning and purpose to their life, education and their future. Falling off track like this, lies the danger of them seeking other means in trying to capture a false sense of belonging. This is why helping them acquire and maintain self-worth is so important in helping them stay focused, in addition to helping them clearly identify their values, visions and goals.

One's level of self-worth is going to determine how far they go in life in terms of acheiving their hearts desires however consists of many factors: what is taught at home by parents, schools, role models and mentors. Do you know who they are?

In the Families Moving Forward workshops we will be discussing these concerns and how to help your child become interested in their future. Stay tuned as we develop the blog and websites to download planners and upcoming events.
